At the Blue Barn, blueberries aren’t rushed. Each bush is carefully tended throughout the year, from winter pruning to summer harvest. Blueberries require acidic soil, careful watering, and just the right balance of sun and shade — a combination that Farmer Josh has spent years perfecting.

“Blueberries teach you to slow down,” says Josh. “They don’t respond well to shortcuts. You have to listen to the land.”
